In a new regular section for the Banter area of TopJLax we take a look at what's Bro and what's No in the Lacosse World and the surrounding Lifestyle. This week TopJ favourite Connor Martin and strangely Fanta Orange.

With Drew Westervelt and Brenden Mundorf busy being World Champions, Connor Martin got his debut game for Outlaws in their comeback win over Chicago Machine, in which he bagged 3 goals and 1 assist, and the MLL Rookie of the Week award. Not bad bro.

Ghana Fanta is the bomb. Not only does it come in a superior glass bottle instead of that plastic crap, but it tastes 12 times better due to containing actual oranges. The same goes for Nigerian and Australian Fanta…cool, UK…uncool.

Team Japan were TopJLax’s ‘most exciting team’ throughout the early stages of the Worlds. After taking apart Germany in an initially close game, beating Australia, and losing out to England in overtime, they looked to be serious contenders for bronze. We were disappointed therefore when the chaps failed to show up against Australia in the bronze medal game…shame…
Team Japan were TopJLax’s ‘most exciting team’ throughout the early stages of the Worlds. Those lime green HEADstrong foundation shoe laces were sported by many of the teams at the World Championships in Manchester, and are making appearances throughout the World on Laxers footwear of choice. Best sported on white cleats, with white mid-calf socks, not only do these give you superior flow but they also support a great foundation doing work to raise the awareness and combat Hodgkin's Lymphoma... a type of cancer that was battled by the foundations founder, a Division 1 Lacrosse player Nicholas "Head" Colleluori (Hofstra Univesity). Nicholas pased away on November 28, 2006 at the age of 21, but the good work of the foundation goes on. You can purchase a pair or donate at the HEADstrong website.
