Normally Magic D is responsible for the Bro's and No's of the week, but he has gone on a surfing holiday and left muggins here to shoulder his workload. After some creative thinking I have come up with my list of Bro's and No's, as well as a question for you all...

Bro - Jersey Shore. For those of you who don't watch Jersey Shore, and I would hope it will be a small number, you need to start. There has not been a show that has been released that has had me laughing out loud quite so much as Jersey Shore, ignoring the fact that it is the first reality TV show that I can stomach week-in, week-out. Do I think the people on the show are Bro's? No (except maybe Vinny). Do I condone quite how stupid and outlandish their behaviour is? Well, yes. It makes for great, controversial and suprising television.

No Bro - Relentless Energy. Now don't get me wrong, I love energy drinks: I love how they perk me up, I love how they taste, I love how well they disguise the taste of cheap vodka. But I do not like the marketing behind the Relentless brand. Relentless sells itself as some sort of drink for the struggling, misunderstood, artistic types, the people who "suffer for your art", the type of trendy, skinny jeans toting, beret wearing idiot that cause a great deal of consternation for the rest of us. I would also like to add that trying to market a drink that will be used by many as a mixer, as a drink for artists reeks of douchebaggery.

Bro - The NFL. The NFL returns this week to our screens, with the opening game of the Minnesota Vikings vs the New Orleans Saints being a copy of last years NFC Championship, complete with Reggie Bush, arguably one of the all time great running backs, and Brett 'Of course I'm retiring' Favre, who returns for his 20th professional season. There'll be big hits, there'll be upsets, there'll be controversy and there will be some fantastic sport on display. Although some people don't enjoy American Football, believing it to be hard to follow and slow to watch, I believe that it is an example of the most specialised athletes on the planet doing what they have been bred to do at the highest possible level.

No Bro - Apple. This is a very personal one for me, and one that I would assume will be met with disapproval by many, but Apple has made it into my list because my Ipod broke down about 2 weeks ago and I have found that Apple staffing and personal service is really piss-poor. Well done Apple, you nearly rule the world, how about giving something back to the people who put you there by better staffing your always overcrowded stores and your always engaged call centres.

Bro or No? - Entourage. Now before you all get really mad, have a frantic game of keyboard warriors and put me to the sword in the comments section I wanted to explain why I have made this a question. I have followed Entourage since it started, the high's and low's of Vincent Chase's career, and I just don't know whether I like the new series. Yes, E tries Anal. Yes, Vince goes out with a pornstar. Yes, Ari is still as cantankerous as ever. But is it as enjoyable to watch as it was 3 years ago? I genuinely want your thoughts so drop them off in the comments section please...

Vikings-Saints is actually a copy of last years NFC championship, not the Super Bowl... but the rest is correct. (except Adrian Peterson is the premier back, Reggie Bush is just a douche...) ;)

Wow, slating two of my favourite brands in one week Dave. Solid work. Guess that combined with enjoying mixed lacrosse makes me SERIOUSLY no bro?
Cheers mate - do you just want a list of other stuff I like for next week's no bros?
Love and regards,
Bo.
