Frat Boy Music: I'm back - Coach Dave 12/30/2010
That's right people, another fantastic instalment of Frat Boy Music from yours truly. The following tracks are all bits and pieces that I have been listening to recently, including a mixtape (which is free to download, of course) that I would strongly recommend you download and bump at a high volume.
There are tracks from the UK, Australia and the good ol' U.S of A after the jump...

Inside Lacrosse TV's - Recaps of 2010 12/27/2010
Inside Lacrosse doing what they do best with a Recap of the biggest storylines in Lacrosse for 2010. There's a good bit of English bashing with a news article detailing the British governments refusal to let those pesky Native American passport holders through immigration,...but other than that it's business as usual with MLL, NCAA and the LXM Pro tour grabbing headlines. No mention of the birth of TopJLax though... maybe there's a special edition video for that?!
There's been some words floating around on the grapevine. 'Dubstep' and 'dying' are the main ones. However, like a fine wine, it seems to not be dying - far from it - but maturing into something pretty bearable, going by the name of 'Chillstep'. In fact I would say it's beyond bearable, pleasant, outstanding, even. Frankly I don't understand how it took people so long to understand that Dubstep was far more suited to a relaxed vibe than the aggressive, over-produced distorted synth line it took before.
After the jump are some of the latest Chillstep tunes that have been soothing our increasingly aggravated, busy and 'responsible' lives in the Gamma Gamma Frat House.
Ps. This genre has developed a wonderful mindset of giving most of their songs away for free, since they've figured most people just download it for free elsewhere anyway. If you search around then you can get a lot of good music in good quality without spending a dime.

Terry Tate - Office Linebacker 12/13/2010

Terry Tate "Office Linebacker" is a series of commercials produced by Reebok that were first shown at Superbowl XXXVII in 2003. They star Lester Speight as "Terrible" Terry Tate, an American Football Linebacker who gives out "pain" to anyone not obeying the office code. It's a great parody of sports in the office environment there are some hilarious moments as various people get laid out into cabinets, trolleys and desks. Videos after the jump...
Tracks from my pod - MagicD 12/01/2010

So MagicD here, deciding that I'm a little bit jealous that Coach Dave and Bo get all the fun putting up music. So I decided to start my own section, called tracks from my pod where I'll sample the playlists that are going throw my headphones on the way to work, at the gym, etc etc. I can't guarantee that there is going to be any consistency, regularity, or any actual decent music. But hey, this is the soundtrack to my life.
