  I stumbled over this video of a guy called Kilian Martin, a skateboarder from the States, who is revolutionising old-skool style boarding. 1 Comment   We saw this video and thought it summed up our feelings of the World Lacrosse games in Manchester very nicely. There's some nice in-game clips, but what's best about the video is it shows the side of the games that was less obvious, chilling in the dorms, laxin' outside on the grass, and the general festival feel of the whole site. See if you can spot anyone you know from the UK scene and post 'em in our comments section.
  Despite the relatively dodgy title, I mean we've got poor use of the English language, but that's just turd, we saw this video, and it was one of those "So that was how it was done" moments, quickly followed by an "Ohhh yeaaaah" in a really girly high pitched voice. Scratch forward, and we've now got Cubase open, and we're planning on remixing "Baywatch" with "Playing with the Boys" [that just brought up a very confusing mental image], maybe alter the pitch and stick the bpm up to 150 and you've got yourself a tune. Watch out dancefloors.
  Between Two Ferns is a vehicle that Zach Galigianakis (the fat guy from 'The Hangover') uses to lampoon film stars and other various celebrities. In the video, available after the jump, Zach tangles with the ever funny Steve Carell, star of 'The Office' (the US version), '40 year old virgin' and 'Evan Almighty'. They are obviously close friends and this allows for them to be particularly offensive towards one another. If you don't laugh out loud it's probably because you're dead inside...

  We've already touched on the subject of Bros Icing Bros in our article titled "Consider the Game begun". It's since been picking up some steam, and to TopJLaxs amusement Coach Dave actually managed to take it to a new level today by Icing himself. (A litre Smirnoff Ice bottle laying ready in his lax bag for an ice block was forgotten about...and when he went to grab his lax bag today, all he found was a sprinkling of glass and even fruitier smelling pads - you've been self-iced beatch). Season in the Balance - For Lax time wasting 06/19/2010
  Here at TopJLax we are big fans of time wasting, and watching lacrosse related videos on the web fits the bill perfectly. We're constantly scouring the tinterweb to find videos that may be of interest to you, and unless you've seen this series already (possible) then we reckon that the below might be of some interest.  For the 2009 Varsity season New Balance started a competition - to make a lacrosse team famous. They requested submission video's from High School lacrosse teams, and eventually whittled it down to 1 team, Canandaigua Acadamey Braves, coached by Ed Mulheron. Once selected New Balance provided 60,000 dollars worth of new equipment and had camera's follow the team through their regular and post season, and on and off the field.
