Last week was the Quiksilver Pro tour event at Snapper in Australia. Won by surfing legend Kelly Slater (pictured staring casually at a massive wave), after the jump is an awesome set of highlights put together by Quiksilver, pretty long at 27mins, but very well put together and featuring some epic surfing. Set them to HD, rock some full-screen and relax. Avoid the fact that it's only Wednesday.

After the academy awards Jimmy Kibble always releases a very funny video. Last year it was The Handsome Men's Club, this year it is the Hottie Body Hump Club, with an all star class of hotties including Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Biel, Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria and Minka Kelly. It is pretty damn hilarious.

Watch it after the jump. Plus the recently released follow-up.

...and we're back! Episode 3, Tracks from my pod, MagicD bringing it to the masses with tunes that are hot right now across headphones of the UK...

Yep, I could deffo be a DJ, argue that one Bo... on a serious note this time we're stopping in I'm goin' with tunes that I listen to on or at the gym. Y'know, scene setters, those ones that help you push out that extra rep. Some choices may be embarrassing... but hey I'm ok with that.

The time and room shot, we all know the feeling, catch, load, engage, let it rip... pick the corner and watch the ripple. So it doesn't always go that way, but hey, we thought we'd check out a few vids from the youtubby that have someone probably with a little bit more experience talking through how to maximise the effect of a shot with a little bit of time. Grab a buddy, hit your local club, and next year you'll be ripping twine, with your lefty. Boom. How do you like them apples?

I stumbled over this video of some Aussie guys surfing and it is Tubetastic. I'm not really a surfer myself but I knew that both Bo and Magic D would be all over it. Living in a place with beaches like this is still a dream though. Spending your weekends laxing and surfing. I wouldn't say no.

After the jump. Make sure you rock it full screen...

So just got back from an epic trip to California, and jet lag aside, had an absolute blast. Thought it'd be interesting to share with y'all some of the tunes that formed the soundtrack to my trip, and kept me entertained whilst lounging in the OC. Part 2 of "Tracks from my pod" brings a selection of songs overheard in places as varied as random hotel lobby's, to certain radio stations, some surfshops... and even the "Monster Energy" stand at the San Diego Supercross event. Chosen by other dj's, passed on by me, and uploaded to the pod. Genius.

Your Dad's favourite movie is back, in 2011 form, with even brighter U.V. lights and a dirty retro soundtrack by everyones favourite DJ twosome Daft Punk. We wondered where they've been, then we guessed it was probably "All around the world", but whatever, they're back with a bang with some weird progressive scene setting tunes for the movie, and a cameo in an awesome Bar scene that's definitely worth seeing. We've added a few of the tunes after the jump, to set the scene for the film, which is definitely worth a watch.

Back towards the end of 2010 we hinted in one of our bro's and no's of the week that there was going to be an epic Mark Wahlberg movie by the name of "The Fighter" hitting our screens in 2011. Well kids, it's finally here, and boy does it live up to the hype. Christian Bale is excellent as a coke addict, stuck in the past, older brother come trainer, whilst Mark Wahlberg (clearly ripped like he's been following a Coach Dave workout programme) depicts a fighter who just won't take no for an answer and shoes some true heart in the ultimate comeback story. Add to that some good fighting sequences, a montage, and a (ginger) babe... and its well worth grabbing the popcorn and settling down to a night in front of the screen. Check the trailer after the jump...

The final chapter of what has been a great week for free music.

Today's instalment is a couple of mixtapes from non-other than Sam 'Sammy' Adams, a dude from Boston with a very big online following. He's a touch controversial: he has, over his short career, been called every name under the sun on message boards throughout the interweb. However he has a habit of coming out with one or two absolute bangers each time he drops a mixtape and i'm here to celebrate them.

You'd better believe that we're still going with Mixtape Week. Today we're getting a little bit UK on yo' ass. Skepta is one of the godfathers of the UK grime scene and today we're going to pay homage to that with his latest mixtape (released last year).

After the jump people.
