Maryland Lacrosse - BRING THE NOISE 02/27/2011
We have to admit, TopJLax are big fans of Maryland Lacrosse. In fact for this 2011 season, The Gamma Gamma Frat House is officially behind Terrapin Lacrosse. The Terps are perennial underachievers, and some say have been badly coached, especially in tournament play, as they seem to fall the wrong side of the line in tight games. They haven't been to a final four in a while, and with new Head Coach John Tillman on board, the final season for the seniors of "that" touted class (still yet to win a ring), and some fly new yellow underarmour uniforms things are looking up...

TopJVideo: Josh Lane does it again? 01/12/2011
So Josh Lane has dropped another lax video, '2011 College Lacrosse Promo'. Personally I don't think it's quite as good as his other work, the 2010 Lacrosse Highlights are a hard thing to top, but he has obviously tried to use new shots that were not in his past videos, which takes some time and effort to dig up, so maybe i'm being unfair. Music track's decent, not amazing, but maybe it'll grow on me.

Coach Dave's Top 5 fall ball 2010 videos 10/27/2010
Fall Ball is an integral part of the college lacrosse calendar and whilst it is sometimes criticised for being of a poor standard and a chance to run out a lot of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th string lines at many colleges, I would still argue that it gives a good indication of squad strength and allows us to take a look at many of the fresh faces at different programs, as well as giving us a chance to watch some lacrosse during this drought of a period for lax videos. After the jump are my five favourite fall ball videos that I have seen so far. Enjoy.
TopJHighlights: Greg Gurenlian 2010 10/23/2010
If you can get past the fact that I have borrowed a piece of artwork from the excellent interview that we posted on MLL star and pro-lacrosse face-off monster Greg 'The Beast' Gurenlian, then the following set of highlights will be a very enjoyable video. Greg had a great 2010, especially if you consider that he missed the 2009 season because of some Chicago Machine transfer shenanigans, and this video really show just how great he was all season for the Long Island Lizards. You will notice that as well as regularly securing a fast break for his team, Greg is able to shoot on the run, grab ground balls and find the open man even when being hassled by the best D-Poles on the planet. This video should be an inspiration for any lacrosse player, but especially aspiring face off men.
